Snowy slopes and sunny skies

A winter holiday at Unterbergerhof will soon make you forget the bleak, dull side of winter. As soon as the first snowflakes fall, the Val di Vizze valley turns into a winter sports paradise. The fun starts right on our doorstep: the snow-covered meadows around our farm are the perfect venue for fun-packed snowball fights.

There is a cross-country ski trail that stretches across the valley, leading through one of the most magical snowscapes South Tyrol has to offer.

 

 

Are you up for a challenge? Then take a scenic ski tour to the top of Mt. Schrammacher to enjoy a jaw-dropping view and a memorable descent on firn snow.

You can also take a snowshoe hike in the woods to experience the authentic idyll of winter in the Alps... and you can hire your snowshoes for free at Unterbergerhof (subject to availability).

 
Ski areas

in the immediate vicinity

If you are after a proper ski holiday, you will be spoilt for choice. There are three different ski areas in the immediate vicinity of our farm: the Montecavallo ski area near Vipiteno, the Racines-Giovo ski area and the Ladurns ski area, all with plenty to offer to skiers and snowboarders. Take the lifts to reach the manicured slopes and ski your way down on magnificent powder snow.

There are pistes at all levels of difficulty, which means that anyone can enjoy a great day on skis, from newbies to seasoned skiers. Absolute beginners can learn the ropes in one of several professional ski schools available. Toboggan runs, ice skating and romantic rides on a horse-drawn sleigh complete the offer for an unforgettable winter holiday.

Cross-country skiing lessons in the Pfitschtal Valley

New from winter season 23/24 the Outdoor Center Sterzing also offer cross-country skiing lessons.
On the perfectly groomed trails in the unspoilt Pfitschtal, cross-country skiing can be optimally learned or perfected.
