Mountain bike tours in Val di Vizze
Cyclists and mountain bikers are in for a real treat! There are options to suit every taste, from cross-country and downhill trails to serpentines that look like they were made for racing bikes. For those who just want to enjoy a relaxed ride, there’s no shortage of easy, panoramic routes in the valley, either. Thanks to their position, our B&B rooms and holiday apartments are an excellent starting point for fantastic cycling tours with the whole family. Subject to availability, you can rent our bicycles free of charge and set out to explore the endless itineraries Val di Vizze has to offer, including a tour to the waterfalls that roar at the end of the valley.
Crossing the Alps
on foot
Crossing the Alps on foot can be an unforgettable experience. Starting from Lake Tegernsee in Germany, a signposted route leads past Lake Achensee and across the Zillertal valley to the Val di Vizze valley. This 7-day tour on footpaths of easy to medium difficulty leads through wonderful natural landscapes. Val di Vizze is an exceptionally rewarding destination!

Experienced mountaineers can get their money's worth on multi-day tours, such as the one that leads to the mighty double peak of Mt. Wilde Kreuzspitze, at an altitude of over 3,000 metres. Not enough? Challenge yourself to climb Mt. Hochfeiler – the highest mountain in the Zillertal Alps, reaching dizzy heights of 3,510 metres.
If you would rather take it easy, there is still plenty for you to enjoy in Val di Vizze. Meadows and alpine pastures offer wonderful scenery where you can relax and get a tan. The local alpine huts do not offer refreshment, but you can always take some of our farm products with you and enjoy a picnic in a nice spot, for example near a crystal-clear mountain lake!
If you would like to add a cultural touch to your holiday, you will find several museums in our area, offering interesting insights into the history of South Tyrol.
